Delete your account
You can do this from inside the app under Account, or from here without opening it.
What happens
Erased straight away
Your account, your link to Google or Apple, your email address, phone, photo, settings, push tokens and AI counters. Your account stops working at once. Backup copies age out within 30 days.
Kept, on purpose
A placeholder carrying your display name stays in every group you were part of, and the expenses and comments you wrote stay attached to it. An expense you paid for is part of what other people owe each other, and removing it would quietly change their balances. Your identity goes; your share of the arithmetic stays.
One thing that will stop you
We refuse to delete an account that still owes money or is still owed money in any group, and the app will list which groups. Settle up first. Settling is how a debt ends — deleting your account is not, and letting it be would leave everyone else's balances wrong.
Right now
Once it ships, you will sign in on this page with the same Google or Apple account and confirm. Until then, if you have somehow ended up with data here and want it gone, write to us and we will do it by hand and tell you when it is done.
